Types
of transport used by students

The pie chart shows the types of transport used by the
students of Sekolah Menengah Jalan Kenanga to go school. According to the pie
chart, 30% of the students go to school by car. 25% of them come to school by
car busses. About 20% of the students come to school by motorcycle. 15% of them
walk to school while 10% of them cycle
According to the
statistics, a large number of parents prefer to take their children to school
probably because they do not trust anybody else to do so. With the increase
rate in kidnapping cases and snatch thefts, parents feel they are the best
people to take children to school.
Meanwhile, for
busy parents who are unable to take their children personally to school, they
use school buses which take their children from the door-step of their houses to
the front gate of the school. This way, they are assured of the children’s
safety.
Only 10% of the
students travel by bicycles, probably due to the busy road. Those who stay near
the school prefer to walk as it is more convenient and economical.
